i bought this so long ago but for some reason anything i buy that needs to be attached to the wall will sit in limbo for an exceedingly long amount of time until i finally decide to install it. it's like i have a mental block with wall hanging items. i really shouldn't have waited so long because installation was not nearly as bad as i thought it would be. in fact it was one of the easier items we've ever put up.installation i took my longest stick and placed it in the holder to see how high i would need to affix it to the wall making sure to let most of the stick hang underneath in the event of any downward sliding it may do while hanging. we then took the level made it straight and used a sharpie to mark the six holes on the wall.this particular wall was drywall so pilot holes were made the drywall mounts were added then the holder was lined up accordingly. the middle top hole was the first to be screwed in then the outward bottom ones then the rest leaving a solid hold to the wall.i would recommend that you open at least one of the hooks before installing this so as to make sure that you do not affix it to the wall upside down. we had no problem but i could see this being easy to overlook.everything hangs in the holder exactly as it was designed to do making this a wonderful addition to help tidy up your home. ours is in the garage but this would also work perfectly for any brooms swiffer mops and or dustpans which may be stored inside.in fact more than likely an additional holder will be purchased in the future for that very reason but i'm going to wait until i know i'm ready to hang it on the wall before doing so this time lol. this review is for the home it mop and broom holder wall mount garden tool storage tool rack storage organization for the home plastic hanger for closet garage organizer shed organizer basement storage general storage 5 position by home it. i had a unit similar to this it was made by a different manufacturer in my previous home. i liked the convenience of storing my broom mop and dust pan in the same place. it was also a bonus that everything was raised not on the floor . however the hooks on the other unit were all broken they were not very thick and the handles of the broom and mop were inserted in a hole as opposed to being held on either side. the quality and function of the ‘home’ broom holder surpasses that of my previous model this is sturdier and the hooks are thick and do not bend break when i hand wet towels and rags on it. installation was easy my husband used a stud finder and used our drill to install the screws. little changes like this make a big difference for the organization of my home.i received this broom holders for free discount to give an unbiased and honest review. i was not paid or compensated to review the product. my reviews are based upon my experience while using the product. my comments are based upon the overall product performance. i am disclosing this in accordance with the federal trade commission 16 cfr part 255 guides mop and broom holder - steel and rubber concerning the use of endorsement and testimonials in advertising.if you have any questions please let me know. i will answer to the best of my ability. if you find this review helpful please let me know by selecting ‘yes’ when asked ‘was this review helpful to you ’.
